Happy Felix!!

Dear Fabienne,

I hope you still remember me – the one with the camper who had already reserved a puppy from a breeder in Germany before visiting your shelter and meeting “Ernest,” now called Felix, my beloved Border Collie.

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to adopt Felix. Taking him home was truly one of the best decisions of my life.

The beginning wasn’t always easy – we both needed time to adjust and get to know each other. We definitely had our moments. But since then, we’ve traveled through Spain and across France, and we’re now back in Germany.

After more than three months of living together 24/7, we’ve grown incredibly close. Our bond keeps deepening every single day, and sometimes it even feels a little scary and magical how connected we’ve become. Felix is the sweetest soul I’ve ever met – a true gift, full of love and light.

Thank you for bringing him into my life. I’m also deeply grateful to your amazing team – especially Jakki, who introduced me to Felix, and Veerle, who trusted me with him. And please give my thanks to the lovely Dutch woman (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) who encouraged me to adopt an adult dog instead of a puppy – she was absolutely right.
